7) compulsive, compulsive, compulsive (and also impulsive, which means I sort of vomit up random, nonsensical-yet-deceptively-sane prose all the time... ALL THE TIME *weeps*).
8) somehow disturbingly Not Amusing At All.
9) ............obsessed with lists....... (and emoticons, dashes, ellipses, parentheses, the words 'naturally', 'anyway' and 'basically', Coke, jelly beans-- okay that last was a lie)

Maybe it's because I met you in person, but the the idea of you being condescending... Yeah, you have your ideas and state them without much thought about political/personal fallout, but (one of the reasons I like to comment here so much) you're not into emotional manipulation or power games as a membrane on the debate. As in: if we're discussing whatever, I don't have to do the thing of making ultra-nice and using conciliatory/softer language just to present an opinion in a way that you'll consider.

And yes, you do like the emoticons, dashes, ellipses, parentheses, but I consider myself lucky that capital letters are involved now so... *abuses ellipses all over the place* :D

Not that anyone asked, but I wanna add my 2 cents on the replying to icon on fic post thing: yeah, it can be ouchie for the author and thus mean, but I don't think it's rude. Miss Manners will totally back me up on being mean not equaling being rude. I think it's one those wonderfully rare things--a way to send a cruel message without being rude.

Hahaha, I suppose I just feel bad that I keep falling prey to my own solipsism in this-- because -I- don't like to soften how I put things & I don't expect others to, I sort of assume most other people will be okay with me being myself ^^;;; That is the major issue, I think~:)) I mean, if I'd -thought- about it, I'd have remembered, 'oh wait, Dorrie is one of those soft-touch people' and be like, 'oohhhhh, I should phrase this differently', and even though I actually knew that at the back of my mind, my tiredness meant that I couldn't be bothered. Le sigh. But it's not like I'm insensitive (though clearly I play it online, or something), so it bothers me when people get hurt, 'cause I mean, I don't intend them to take what I say personally... it sort of boggles my mind that they do... -.-;;

You're right about the manners thing-- not that I know my face from a poplar tree when it comes to manners. I can tell it's 'questionable' behavior on my automatic 'would I do this' scale, so that's how I judge it, ahahaha. Uh. 'Cause I actually have no other measurement, being totally clueless when it comes to what 'normal' people think is The Way To Act (sort of through having ignored them by choice during my formative years). I think this whole 'cruel message without being rude thing'-- I wouldn't do that, so if I smell it, I go 'eeewwww' and assume anyone would ;)) OH MAN. *facepalm*
