Nah, Draco's the best. It's so scary, because that is the way I see him in my head. Especially with the lace, omg.

I have yet to incorporate dirtyangryviolentswords, or indeed sex, but I couldn't agree more. *pause* Yup, I had to have another look. And Draco with his finger up his nose in the portrait! Oh my!

That drabble was evil. In a good way! Especially the bad breath. Applause for that. I don't know why, I could almost ... smell it, or something? Like coffee breath?

And obviously they dropped the swords afterwards to use the other sort of more metaphorical swords. I hope.

I know what you mean about the smell/visceralness-- I think that's really the attraction of the idea of swords-- and blood-- and rage with them (for me), like, how it taps into that life/death basic conflict thing, how physical it is. Like, I dunno if I'm into hatesex!H/D as much as I am into dirtyangrysointenseit'sviolent!H/D. Heh. Like in Aspen's fic! Except more of it :D :D

I love how his eyes are kind of too far apart! Yet there's still something interesting about him. I think Harry would agree (wishful thinking, much?) -- am so in awe of flimpy's mad skillz.

AM LIKING THE GOTH DRACO, oh yes. But is Draco naturally inclined towards being anaemic and, as my haemotology lecture says, "pale and interesting," or does he do it on purpose? Is he extremely self-aware or way above all that?

Hate!sex. Gets a good rap, yet ... what is it, really? Personally, I could never write a H/D sex scene where there wasn't some feeling of lust or attraction on both sides, even if it's so subliminal its draining out their ears. I can't imagine but that it'd be an awfully traumatic event if someone is taking their hate out on you through sex and you didn't want them to do it on some level. Eh. Yeah, you prolly don't want that either, but what is life if we don't debate the semantics of stuff?
I liked Quicksilver, but is that the same Aspen who wrote Daisy-Chain Draco? Because, um, that disturbed me. Sorry. But it did. A lot.

Ehehehe, 'pale and interesting' indeed :D :D When I first started writing Draco, he was totally extremely self-aware but in no way above anything, eheheh, he was always very put-upon :D I just like him to ANGST and then ANGST and then... ANGST SOME MORE :D :D (Not that I'm sadistic when it comes to him... no, really.... er...)

I once wrote H/D hatesex (http://lunacy.livejournal.com/132492.html), like, for realz, but of course that was mostly non-con-- I think I get carried away with hate-- I mostly stick to anger, which does allow for both violence and desire-- so it's actually angrysex. If there's no actual desire, then it's just disturbing, isn't it ^^;;;
And yeah, uh, Daisy-Chain!Draco disturbed me as well -.- But most of her H/D smut is actually... on the realistic-yet-fluffy side, ahahah.

I think Ivy was first for me too, though that was ages ago by now. Well, Ivy's the second writer I read after Durendal, and Irresistible Poison -had- no sex... though I read Tower with a View soon afterwards, and -that- was hot... and then Dahlia... and Marysia-- ahahah it cracks me up 'cause I don't think anyone knows who these people are anymore :>
