The ugly truth is, even after all this time in fandom, I think Draco is OMG SO HOT!!1

I was just browsing this fan gallery of Draco pics by different fanartists, and dude, the meaner he looked, the tinglier I got. Mmmm, long-haired!Death Eater!Draco <3<3 And oooh, evilly-smirking!Draco. *sigh*
    Also, is it just me or is this OoTP H&D scene where Draco trip-jinxes Harry really hot? Pointy obsessed little mean boy!! :X :X :X He just needs someone to wipe that evil smirk off his face, doesn't he?? (I think my fantasies of whimpering!surrendering!Draco have eaten my brain, yes.) I mean, he so does. It's a truth of the universe.
    Also, I really like this CG!Luna :D And this is a really interesting Tonks.
    And sparcck's `Apotropaic' makes me hummm in pleasure, twisted and dark as it is. I love it when Draco's fierce and focused and resentful and Harry's sort of caught in some twisted spiral of mutual self-destructiveness with him. Yep, that's me, romantic to the max.

See, see, this is why I get all meepish and sad when I see people say that Harry/Zacharias and Harry/Draco are interchangeable. They're so totally not. Zacharias is a bitch, sure, but he's not a nasty little ferret with ickle pink little pawwwws (of lurrrve). I mean. Right, then.
    Also, pretty much any pairing can be cliched if handled by inept writers-- or even mediocre writers. Dude. 'It's all been done' is such a cop-out. Also, even fanon!Draco != Zacharias. If anything, fanon!Draco has magical powers over Harry through his amazing legendary skillz (like being a Veela who can breathe underwater while making kick-ass potions), which Zacharias clearly doesn't. Hmph.
