Earlier, I was really wondering if I'd lost my sense of humor. Or if I'd ever really had it. It seems I'm always laughing at everything, but when I open my mouth it's all "woe" or "grrr" or "argh" or... "hmmm", maybe, if I'm feeling ponderous. And I often am. And in fact, am I now not pondering about my very ponderousness? This has got to stop.

Although, honestly, the things that make me laugh are... um... sad in that "special" way a lot of times. Like, I read the words "stoner duo" out of context just now, and I definitely snickered. And let me just say that this is a lame pun, at the very least. As well as being not-funny even to most GW fans. Ahem. But anyway.

Because I am overflowing with love, I give you this link to bad horror movie reviews. Well, they're good reviews, of course. Rather funny. Wish I could write like that. I mean, after my mind melted into processed cheese after watching that many 70s horror flicks, I'm sure I'd be on my way, of course. Wah. I want to write over-the-top insane violence with nekkid chicks, man. Nekkid chicks and big guns and... a lot of blood. I can see it!

Actually, my protagonist would also be a chick... well, you know, half-clothed. With blue spiky hair (and a big gun), and she'd be really pissed off all the time... even when she's asleep. Actually, this is making me think that Rambo and all those guy movies with the angry boys are all rather... sad, aren't they. Oh man. I'm slowly deflating, I think. -.-

And. It's weird... I keep picking up my old obsessions, like pretty broken shells I look at and set down again. I can't believe I'd actually read several Star Trek K/S fics (oh, the squickiness), and... well.... I like. Wah. The horror. But... no. I love them, so it's not squicky. I mean... in a way, it's like seeing your parents do it, 'cause, y'know, -old- people, but. I definitely have to write that octogenarian H/D porn someday.

hey, i think love between old people can be cute. doesn't mean i want to watch it happen, or even envision it but. when they hold hands in the park and what not it makes me go awwwwww.

Anyway, you know H/D lurve wouldn't be cute, it'd be disturbing. Somehow. They'd be in a nursing home together and Draco would try to blow up Harry's pudding. And Harry would surreptiously curl Draco's careful hairdo into ringlets. And then they'd stick out their tongues at each other and make farting noises. Okay, maybe not, ahaha, but you know people regress in their old age. *nods sagely*

Hell, sex between people over 30 is "too old" for me. I just like disturbing myself sometimes :>

lol, it's interesting, i think. self-inflicted squicks. i think we come out of those stories with our heads held a little bit higher than usual and a look of OMGITWASSOGROSSbutyou'llneverbelievewhatijustread (andireaditallthewaythroughtoo!) on our faces.

it's all about the pretty, pretty squick i guess and the confidence one can gain from subjecting oneself to that which grosses them out.
