okay, so actually, i have little to say. i hate pointless posts, i do, i do, but. but. but.

alice (er... i have to say "that alice", because she doesn't have an lj, so yeah... *coughs*) sent me a link to nekkid-and-sexxxy!hermione by request at which point i -thought- i died, and then i looked at the directory, and. oh. my. -gahd-!!

there are indeed... no words.
these are all just. stupendously drawn and more than half are just -insane- (just the way i -like- it, man), and. she drew the harry/ginny of my -dreams- (yes, you read that right), and omg this is probably the only millicent pin-up in existence. as well as probably the only harry/pansy in existence o_0

to say i adore this maddened, flustered!hermione would be putting it lightly. insanity, man. it's what for breakfast! also. inked!draco is all kinds of gorgeous. and, oh god, i was like, whoo! mcgonnagal!!... which is just wrong, but. then there's badass!hermione, which is oh-so-right.
    and then there's the hilarious `love under will' post-book-1 bits, which. i just. wheeeeeee!
    this, i won't even -describe- o_0 eheheheheh evil is right :D :D

and everyone -knows- i have a swords!h/d fetish, right, right? because i DO, man, oh, i DO. and -how-. waahhhh.
    and. mowgli!harry = sex. eheheheh. omg, am in fangirl heaven. someone stop me. and yes, i've overloaded geocities so none of these links work now again -.-

I finally saw this art. Oh yes. Her little comics thrill me. There is one with Draco saying "I can't believe the first person I came out to was Voldemort" and I really want to use it for something, but I have no idea how to contact this mysterious Alice -woe- .

You know what would absolutely kill me? Having her illustrate basically any fic. Ever. It could be the worst fic ever and her wonderful art would keep me interested.

I am still wibbling over sexy!Hermione and the Christmas comic strip.

I think she half-way illustrated one of silvia's (http://www.rightthisway.net/proclivities/silvia/main.html#hp) fics, but i can't find which one on silvia's site, though i think it's somewhere in another directory of alice's -.-

Her art reminds me of children's books I had when I was little. Like Harry the Dirty Dog, Nobody is Perfick, Lyle, Lyle Crocodile... etc. I keep wanting to say that her artwork reminds me of the 80s, but then I realize that that's just when I was little.

It does have a sort of vintage feel to it, though, doesn't it? Something about the lines... blah. I know nothing about art, but I really like hers. See? Am still talking about it. Could have moved on by now. Really.

i know what you mean though. she uses inks and these rough sketchy penstrokes a lot, and i think something about the extreme facial expressiveness... heh.
she's definitely one of my top three favorites, along with nefeleo and glock~:))

-grins- And I think you should. Off you go, go write me a drabble entitled 'harry the dirty dog' or heck, even 'draco the messy dragon' because there's far too much that can be done with that. i bet he was one of those children that broke all of his toys when he got sick of them, or he kept them is massive oddly sorted piles in separate corners of his room and cried when the house elves moved them.

she's rapidly becoming one of my favorites too. i want to email her but if i do it's going to be a fangirly mess of little coherence. -wibbles- :{
