so like. addictedkitten said she found these 50-closest-non-friends things to be faaaascinating, and i was like.... wah! -i- wanna be fascinating!! so sara, you better comment on this, because i did it for your amusement..!! ahahaha! though sadly, it's not very amusing. woe. but here it is anyway.


1: altricial - actually, i -would- friend because she seems like a great and funny and lovable person, but i don't read ron/ginny (though i loved her h/d fics) and i don't -know- her and i don't friend people just for the heck of it if i don't feel i know them at all, usually. unless i'm crushing on them a bit.

2: anatsuno - seems vaguely interesting, mostly vaguely because i don't know her and she doesn't write fic. journal wasn't clarifying much in terms of who she was last i checked, so yeah.

3: bhanesidhe - love her art, but would see it anyway on hpart, and her real-life entries aren't self-explanatory or deathly fascinating (most people's aren't, it's okay), though i check out her journal a bit at random times.

4: sheron - on my friends-of list, but doesn't have much to grab my interest on her journal, and i already have so many people friended (well, i try not to skim).

5: legomymalfoy - used to have friended, then defriended me and i defriended back. i like her, but i still haven't read her fic, and her real-life entries and h/d smut don't do it for me, but then i'm all about the anger and the violence, heheh. ahem.

6: amalin - <3333333333 onto infinity. have her current journal friended. adore her to pieces.

7: puckmalfoy - seems like a wonderfully quirky person, friend of friends, and i pop in to her journal sometimes, and have actually enjoyed some of her real-life entries, but i feel weird friending her since it's mostly real-life stuff and i don't know her.

8: tradescant - wonderful writer and really seems like a warm and intelligent person, friend of friends, but i don't go in for snapefic so much (though i do read some), and anyway, i do check out her journal occasionally.

9: maybethemoon - seems like a sweet person from what i've seen, and if i was much more into s/r than i am, i'd probably friend her, but... er... i'm not?

10: taradiane - like her-- she'd always made me think she was a very sweet person and she's got a lot of friends, but am not much with the woobiness and squeeing as i could be, and am hard-assed wench about keeping friends list down.

11: chinawolf - don't know her, seen her around but still don't have any clear picture in my head. uh, yeah?

12: bonibaru - used to have friended, but then was cutting, and she has a lot of non-hp fandom stuff which i can't hope to keep up with, so. yeah. then she defriended me and i was like, meep? what did i do? so i defriended quietly.

13: kay_taylor - i actually am rather curious about kay, because back when she had a non friends-only journal, i'd read an autobiographical bit about british boarding schools and thought it was fascinating, and i also got her as my rescribo assignment, even though sadly i got stuck on my fic, but anyway, she's a really good writer, and i'm fascinated by british people, heheh. but friends-only, blah blah.

14: ali_wildgoose - i used to have her friended but she never friended me back. um. i like her fic and her artwork a lot, and i'd friended her to keep up with those, and also because i've met her and she seemed rather cool. but then i was like.... cutting the list... so there you go.

15: ravenchel - i keep seeing/hearing/whatever great things about rae-- which is to say, friend of friends. um. writes weasleycest. hee. so... don't know her, might like to, but just hadn't happened to cross paths 'cause she doesn't comment where i could see it much (ahahaha, locked lj's, huh).

16: digikym - loff her art, think she's funny and interesting, but um... don't usually friend people with mostly real-life journals :)

17: tillytilly - actually, i think she's fascinating from what i've seen-- ie, her h/d fic and her meta rants. funny and insightful and everything, but has mostly short real-life posts that i can see, and i'd feel kind of like a fifth wheel. though i'm curious :)

18: nothingbutfic - hee. i've often thought of friending him, but i probably check out his journal more regularly than any of the others who i've said i check occasionally. um. since he doesn't friend anyone i didn't friend him either >:D< hee! but yo, great rants and i seem to have some strange compulsion to read his fic. peculiar. somehow, he seems to know me as well, though we've not really -talked-, heheh. oh well, word gets around :))

19: dracopottamus - i know of her, and she seems nice, but we haven't really crossed paths :))

20: xandria - another one of those paths things. she's another veela mod, and she has a recs journal i've checked out often enough (which is rather deliciously snarky), but her main journal has a lot of real-life stuff and she mostly writes lucius fic, so yeah. i wouldn't say she seems "nice" (because er... yeah), but i like her, though i don't really know her very well~:)

21: queerasjohn - er. when i saw john at nimbus, i totally squeed. hee. i like his fic pretty well, actually, though i've never sought it out on purpose, i've read it on armchair. and he is definitely really cool, but... er... yeah. no incentive to friend him, since i don't friend mostly-real-life journals and he doesn't write h/d much.

22: proteinscollide - seems very cool. all the fic i've read of hers was beyond stellar. doesn't write that much anymore (i -think-?) and not much h/d, but yes. much with the respect.

23: aome - don't really know her, but she seems like a very sweet person, whose fic i have enjoyed even if i had issues with it sometimes. ^^;

24: hirsch - adore her fic, have every reason to think she's an interesting person, even though she likes baseball a lot, hee. used to have her friended. she defriended me after awhile, which hurt, but she said it's nothing personal, so okay. defriended because she has mostly real-life posts and i've decided she's not likely to re-friend me so i can finally read that chapter of `speak, desire' (i know! so lazy!)

25: witchbabie - SHE SUCKS. I HATE HER. OMG, DIE BITCH DIIIIIEEE!!! >:O

26: lieblich - heheheh. i think i know who this is, but :D oooh, sekrit!! :>

27: arwena - er... one of those people who have me friended but. er, yes?

28: jlh - she's a -wonderful- person. i saw her at nimbus. wheeeee! but like. er... i don't read s/d and i don't know her enough to follow her real-life.

29: nmalfoy - er... love mpi, think she's a cool person with interesting things to say about fic sometimes when she talks about it, but i'm bad with staying interested with mostly real-life journals. but, she defriended me first. woe.

30: eleemosynary - i might break down and friend again. i'm just too shy to chat on aim, and i'm all starstruck and i adore the few fics she's written. ahem. so yes. hadn't known about this journal until like, a few days ago though. would probably just visit it if it wasn't friends-only. woe. the only journal besides aspen's i've wanted to read that was.

32: salazaar - heheh. didn't friend, friends-only. would've otherwise, though. not even because of the fic. just... i dunno. sometimes you get the urge >:D< and yes, okay, i worship `screwed' and have some weird need to get to know the intellislashers more, in a "well, i'm too shy to actually -talk- to you guys, but you really intrigue me" sort of way.

33: wednesdayschild - seems very cool and personable and british, but. that's all i know :-?

34: black_dog - totally hero-worship his reviews and meta. is probably 10 times more intelligent than me, heheh. but his journal doesn't get updated much, and not really a -meta- journal, per se, so. watch his comments on others' journals, though.

35: isilya - heee. she's v. cool. i've met her!! did i mention she's very cool?? heheh. er. but like... i would feel weird -friending- her, though i've checked out her journal every now and then. plus, she's not really all that -in- hp fandom, mostly in smallville. but she's great. hee. would've friended if she friended.

36: onthecontrary - eh? this is one of those sekrit journals, isn't it -.-

37: switchknife - er. we really don't share similar tastes/opinions in fic that much, which is only really a problem since this is still a recs journal. though i really like her meta discussions, which aren't mainly what her journal's about. but yeah, might friend if she comments much, 'cause she's got me friended.

38: karabou - had her friended 'cause i loff her art and she's a very sweet person, and i can still see her smut art 'cause i gave her webspace, hehehe. but then i defriended her while cutting list, and er... she'd defriended me back recently, so yeah.

39: petulans - seems very intelligent and i've heard of him, but nothing -specific-. er. loved his ootp post, though.

40: seviet - -luuuuuuurve- her art. thought seriously of friending her. dunno why i didn't. doesn't draw h/d, like, -ever-, that's probably why. ahahahah SO BIASED.

41: galilei - mysteriously alluring & i love her writing, heheh. wish lj wasn't friends-locked, but it is, so.

42: serious_black - eep! used to check out her journal often. adore her fanficcy & gorgeousbeautiful poem stuff. *WEEPS* but now its brilliance is gone!!! ><;;

43: ixchelmala - know of her, has me friended, but it's mostly one of those fandom journals with no... um... enticements like fic or art or meta, and i'm a stingy bitch.

44: judydark - it's another one of those mysteriously multiplying SEKRIT LJ'S!!!! omg, whatever shall i do???

45: tobymalfoy - know of him, but.... er? he's british, i think, though, always a plus :D

46: anna_maria - she had me friended at one point. seems very intelligent and interesting. if only i was more into femmeslash -.-

47: iscaris - had her friended for the -longest- time. then she stopped writing h/d fic. then she started again, but that was after i'd defriended, and realized i could keep up with it on her mailing list. er... yah? but she seems like a super person with a half-way interesting lj, etc.

48: psychobarfly - has me friended. er. love her one h/d fic. er. has a bubbly fandom journal wherein she doesn't post much fic. eh...? but seems nifty.

49: suckeriove - hehehe, don't know very well, but friend of friends. has me friended. maybe i'll get to know her better? don't think she writes/draws h/d though -.-

50: machiavellian - friend of friends and seems rather interesting but forbidding to newbies... er... yeah i still feel like a newbie when it comes to her. um. would probably know her better if i read snapefic. hers was actually one of the first fandom websites i'd ever seen, and i remember when it had drippy blood on it, muwahahahah. everything indicates coolness, but alas we have not crossed paths. woe.

damn, i know a lot of fandom people and i've had half of them either friended of had them friend me, before we went our separate ways, though no bad feelings remain. and a few people on here just baffle me, though not as many as on most other peoples' list. also, i apparently HATE one of these people, and er... yah. that may be unhealthy, were it true >:D

except it's really boring, 'cause i don't have a good -reason-, and then there's "BUT I RESENT HER A BIT BECAUSE SHE DEFRIENDED ME, RARRR!" (that goes for anyone who defriends me barring aja, hehehe).

well, like. like, i dislike some people for no reason. i feel guilty about that. 'cause, eh?? you know. why? i mean, i don't tend to dislike assholes-- i like assholes. *laughs* if you have a reputation for assholery and like, smack down people all the time, i'm like, "cool! popcorn?"

so yeah.
i used to have much more of an issue with switchknife than i do now. just unreasoning dislike of her reviews. that just sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? I KNOW IT DOES!! but just as i adore black_dog's reviews, i can't stand switchknife's reviews. go figure.
i also think some people are boring. even though i like them, i do..! no, really! but. hirsch's journal was. sorta. i blame the baseball.

well, not everyone can be brilliant ^^;;
but other people have said it before. so i should be more brave. i pretty much mostly agree with whoever you thought was boring ><

bonibaru... er. back when we'd crossed paths more, i was like... meepishly uncomfortable with her. i just didn't know what was up and whenever people are just -in- the fandom and i don't see -why- it always makes me go :/ a bit. well, i know why. whenever people are only semi-known in the fandom because they're friends with the bnf's, and then you see their name around and it's like they're "in", but that's not bonibaru's or ivy's -fault- or anything, so yeah.
i'm sure all those people are nice, but like... sometimes they're only vaguely known in a small circle and that's more okay (like trombonejones, who seems cool), but not like... mods and things.

I feel uncomfortable around Bonibaru too. She's never done anything to me, but most of her friends are either people I hate or people who have hurt my friends, so it makes me weary. We've talked via email once or twice and it was okay, and we used to have each other friended, but... yeah. Plus her lj was always links to other people, so I found it pretty boring.
