Hahah that quiz is the most fun I've had thinking about the books in months. :D

It's interesting how I was quite certain of some things (ie, Harry & friends would live, Voldemort & Snape would die, Snape isn't a traitor, Harry isn't a horcrux), surprisingly certain about others (Harry will get Dumbledore's pensieve, Dudley has no magic powers, there's a Horcrux in Hogwarts, we'll see more of the Forbidden Forest), and quite confused yet still opinionated about most everything else. Heh. It's very rare that even the most out of the blue question inspires no real opinion-- I even have some opinion on whether Dudley's a magic user or who'll be the next head of the Order. Hehe. It's nice to get my dork on again. ♥.

I'm surprised that they only ask one question about Draco, and it has nothing to do with what will happen to him. I realize I wear shipper goggles, but I don't think I'm imagining his importance in Book 6's narrative?

Yes, I think the bias was pretty clear in the quiz too. One question about Draco, but apparently it's "a fact" that Ginny's Patronus is a Phoenix?

Maybe it's in part 2?? The quiz says it's part 1. But in retrospect, yeah. I guess I was distracted by being happy to think on these questions at all. Like riding a bicycle, I guess, haha.

I wonder what sort of short question one would ask about Draco. I guess you could ask if he'd surivive (yes); whether he'd actually help Harry with the horcruxes (difficult since my answer is 'not consciously, necessarily' or 'yes but under some duress' or 'sort of', haha). Maybe also 'will Draco see the Light', hahaha. Yeah. I don't think I saw the quiz as direct commentary on the sixth book so much as a bunch of somewhat esoteric stuff culled from the books as a whole (since there was stuff like, 'will book 7 be a reflection of book 1 plot').

Man, it would make sense if it -was- a Phoenix, all things considered and given how JKR is, but yeah, we don't know that, do we, haahah.

Nah, I didn't think it was a big deal there weren't more questions about him. It's just that any question about the "fact" Ginny's Patronus is a phoenix pretty much says who's making up the quiz.

This is timely. I was just reading HP fic for the first time in...years? yesterday and thinking about it in general today, about why I gave it up and so on.

Maybe I will take this quiz and give it some thought.

Hee, I'm glad the chain of inspiration goes on. For some reason, seeing that quiz on my friends list struck me with renewed interest, though not so much in HP fic, 'cause I've pretty much given up on that completely separately from the books. Mostly because it sucked :>
