Uh, I know I haven't written anything for ages (though I used to, I swear)... and I don't know whether to blame the weird discontinuity of HBP or my 'angest' or what, but. Well, I think of myself as 'still active' 'cause I have promised myself I'll finish my post-HBP H/D novella by my birthday, which is June 24th (AND NOW I'VE SAID IT ALOUD, OH NOES!!1) Anyway, I saw this meme and. <33333333333333333~!

Pretend for a minute that the only contact you have ever had with me is through my fic. We've never exchanged LJ comments or emails, never hung out in chat or on YM, never talked on the phone or met each other in person, none of that stuff. The only thing you know about me is the kind of fic I write.

What kind of person would you think I am? How would you describe my attitudes and opinions about real-life issues? Or, to use the rephrased question:

Based on the way I write my characters, and the way they speak, think, and behave, what would that say to you about my attitudes and opinions about real-life issues?

Actually, I was thinking that too as I wrote it. That's why I think it's hardest to answer this if you know the person v. well-- like, differentiating between what you 'would' and 'couldn't' know, stuff like that, 'cause the fact remains that you -know- too well. But yeah, um.

I think your question about the metatext depends on the particular piece of writing; sometimes it's better, sometimes it's not as well-done-- which is normal, right. Sometimes I go overboard with the emo too, I imagine :>

Yes, it's hard especially if you've also *talked* a lot about their writing with the person! coughcough. I was also thinking that while doing yours. Um, sorry if it was so short. I sort of feel guilty now. These things never flow out of me like they seem to do from you. -.-;;
