::.slytherins give great head.::

*coughchortlecoughcough* ermmm..... i like this guy. i like slytherins (mmmmmm....). i like [livejournal.com profile] ivyblossom too, but he's far from ivy blossom's psychologically insightful but um....kinda... vanilla sensibilities. but don't worry, i wub you ivy, and your new dialogia with libertine, RAWKS!...

anyway. ahem. harry potter slash. gotta lurv't, mate. *smirk*
guns&handcuffs has good short(s) & schnoogle.com has a bunch-a rilly long-winded (some good) hp slash... i like aja, btw, but... yah. i'm spoiled. no draco is badboi enough for me now ;) and durendal's are still the only ron-fics i consider worth any interest-- i'm open to being surprised, but apparently badboi's, as hard (ahem) as
they are to "do" (i'm so bad), pathetic second-banana characters are even harder. comedy is not for the weak of heart, apparently, heh. durendal's recs page proves we think on a similar frequency~~ as evidenced by~~

::.aja's love under will;; dahlia's the silver chain;; rhysenn's irresistible poison;; phatgirl's tower with a view;; kick flaw's stuff;; libertine's snitch sequence &niggah!Harry&other assorted hilariosity;; Saber ShadowKitten's the heart of slytherin;; maya's underwater light;; penguin's dragonweed;; marysia's the marks we bear.::

so here's some (krissy's spiffy-looking site) & more -- and that link's gotta be good, if they archive bitchboi, right? 'cause, we all luuurv bitchboi-- but sshhhh! he doesn't wanna know ;p

there be some recs for that shtuff, mateys.

and, did i mention, draco is the most snogalicious boy this side of muggledom??! the fanart rocks-- but not as hard (*cough*) as when it's harry/draco fanart yumminess~! mmmmmm, shagalicious indeedy-dooooo (please please do, yes yes yes yes!)
nasubionna has very unique stylized art, and i absolutely adore her take on snape, whom she clearly adores-- almost enough to put me off of malfoy, whom she -hates- [stupid racist git and all]... nah :)

this almost turned me on to harry/snape (this chick has a thing for older/younger slash..?) because her star wars art-- as well as everything else-- rocks, hardcore. man, that's good. cgi realism at its best. the yoda ad cracked me up, btw.

.::small rant::. um. ok so like... i appreciate sweet emotional tender romance as much as the next person *coughharlequincough* but... draco/harry??! without a reason, a sweet-and-cuddly!draco just... embarrasses me [yes, that includes, sensitive!draco, oh-so-introspective!draco, sincere!draco, sappy!draco, needy!draco, tragically-misunderstood!draco, and always-loved-you!draco]. yikes. "ardent oral crush" indeed. maybe it's just the tongue-tripping soliloquies that have me all "aflutter"... "as they sucked juicily on each other's souls" *smirk* man, that line is priceless. [goddammit, gimme arrogant-bastard!draco, insufferable-git!draco, horny-bugger!draco, sarcastic-twit!draco, sexay-in-hotpants!draco, in-denial!draco, even drama-queen!draco. possibly maybe, angsty-sex!draco, love-hate!draco, and two-sided!draco. that's TWO sided, kids.] what do you mean, "he didn't really mean that"?? face it, yes he DID mean that. if he didn't, he'd be even -more- of a loser. if he isn't in denial, and still acts like he does, he doesn't deserve harry in a million years, since that makes him a weak, pathetic little twit-- which some might argue he always was, but hey, arrogance is sexy-- as long as it's not FAKE! it's-all-an-act!draco has his place-- after all, that's what denial!draco implies... but to spell it out... and make him -conscious- of it-- that's just too much. how many of us are conscious of the things that go against everything we think we are, what's more, how many of us dwell in those things? lust, yes, hard to miss (har har). but love? ignoring love is a talent with some people.

     I will hug him and pet him and call him George, indeed. ouch. i'm guilty as charged-- all my lil george/spike/draco bunnyrabbits which i luvluvluv, eh. or the angst-boy secretly-weepy needs-to-open-up-and-cryyyyy-boy. of course we all know things can be taken too far :> yes indeed, hurt/comfort fics are strangely frightening to me.

            bds&m!draco/harry freaks me, too. let's just call it a personal squick. and yah, the Weather series is very well written. but it doesn't help. slaphappy!harry is... uh...just... um..... messed up. not that i mind messed up. usually. sex. maybe i just see harry as the uke-- but not really-- like stoic!harry, mostly, otherwise draco would walk all over him, or he'd just sink to his level really fast, and that'd be disgusting. [i do know submissive!harry -can- work, if it's an "issue" thing that has some sort of point.] maybe it's sex-as-bonding i have a problem with... but no, i love dahlia's silver chain. maybe it's because of the angst component. sex (before romance) without emotional angst-- even if somewhat noncon sex. [squick]. hey, that's what a pwp is, right. i've always liked 'em. hmmmmm. so i return to theory #1: slut!draco and slaphappy!harry aren't ...my boys, i guess. that is all. wanting noncon fucking of people i can't stand/who can't stand me isn't on my "mmmm yummy, do it now" list. if it's on draco's... seriously..? that takes him right from the "anti-hero" to the "pathetic bastard" camp. which is why spike squicks me, late season 6. noncon is actually -not- a squick of mine. but spike is more excusable-- he's had months to get lovesick and desperate. draco? what's up with -him-? would i want to like/identify with a character who's willing to give away so much for so little? who isn't just capable of being seduced by power, but already has been? yah, great, this isn't cuddly!draco. he just went the other way. seriously? this is no-pride!draco. yecch.

exception: marysia's 'the marks we bear'-- not really s&m, but.... um... definitely emotional masochism (sadism in any way shape or form rilly squicks me no matter what, usually-- i just don't see easy redemption for it). harry's masochistic & so is draco-- mm, two ukes. so cute! i love it :) it may not be canon!harry/draco or even fanon!harry/draco, but i like it anyway. all it has to be is believable. i think that harry has a bit too much of an Issue with his sexuality, but hey, it could happen. i don't really feel i "know" harry like draco, anyway. so. co-dependent!harry/drake can -definitely- work....
