(.....sorry about this)
Jan. 14th, 2005 05:34 pm...There's something so beautiful about lurking in fandom, but especially lurking in yaoi manga/anime fandom, man. Maybe it's just that I get so excited about it and the love is so pure. Wah!! It's so liberating to just love the pretty boys and squee madly if one sort of looks funny at the other and be like, THIS IS WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT, OMG.
*sigh* I love being shallow. It's beautiful, gorgeous thing, I swear. It sucks ass to think too much about fandom stuff, because like, while it's fun to analyze (otherwise I wouldn't), it's still distressing to nitpick and know when something's wrong with a story or a picture or what have you. Blissful ignorance, how I've missed you!!
...No, I can't come up with anything of substance for the life of me. Porn, porn, porn... it is my life. Well,
the_leaky & like, Sukisho (omg, a new yaoi anime!! yegads, my life is complete!!). Also, I'd always claimed I don't read manga, but as always when I claim something (like, SHOOT ME IF I EVER READ HARRY POTTER) `Color' got me hooked like a bass. Yes, my mouth hanging open and everything, wheeee!!

Date: 2005-01-16 02:04 pm (UTC)*edit* just checked, you mean the fighting boys. thanks for the heads-up.
...i should never EVER EVER EVER go on irc again. i always say it and always come back for some stupid little reason and i always regret it. it's like i'm already primed to hate and rage at it 'cause of my um, past, so now it just takes any irritation and i start tearing my hair out. *sigh*
...penelope said it was tragic but ended okay :-?

Re: a mood-booster
Date: 2005-01-16 02:06 pm (UTC)...except I'm not willing to use irc for it, because then -I- get hurt ><;;; sorry :>
Re: a mood-booster
Date: 2005-01-16 02:21 pm (UTC)c'mon, why is the needy blond person on top? you know that's just totally wrong.
it took me some time to even learn how to chat on irc. i never touched the downloading part; why do people make things more complicated than they should be? i'm sure there's some equivalent to occam razor in engeneering. if you can have it simple, make it simple. like, why don't all translators put their stuff on streamload or bittorent? i actually wondered if they were trying to screen their audience.
or maybe some people just get off that they can use this BIG, V. DIFFICULT THING.
