It's not necessarily that it's -Harry-, either, or that I hate fanon!Harry (...well, I don't love him, and can't think of a single truly brilliant instance, but whatevers). It's that whole 'but I'll just take the version I like and love it and hate the original' that drives me utterly insane. It's totally a slap to the face of like... writerly/readerly honesty? Artistic integrity? Something like that.
