if you thought i'd forgotten it was penelope_z's birthday this saturday, well... er... you were wrong..!
    i was busy. also, i am a t00b.

i am still awake, so i'm pretending it's still saturday. so, um. here.
    because i promised i would, and because i still do have a soft spot for tuw, and because even if it takes you forever, i'm pretty sure you'll finish it, and even if i'm the only one reading by then, so be it. i would draw you lex & lionel, but i think that'd just be ... funny. anyway,

in other news, i'm all for thebratqueen's fanfic two-step test in-characterness theory (also expounded upon here). take canon, without interpretation, only appearances. try to make interpretation that fits said appearances. now ask "what if" about said interpretation. yes. wah. i love condensing things -.-

and. nefeleo's art rocks my little hand-knit girly socks. *droooool* i... i... i'm in love with ginny (the horror! the horror!!). the two ginnys inspired by audrey's fic are beyond awesome. the pansy/ginny pic though.... gaaaah. makes me want to write femmeslash with a fury, man. a FURY. waaaaaaah.
    & dark_soul_lost made me oh-so-squeeful with her fluff drabble, which is just so adorable i dare anyone to smirk at it & be a that much of a grinch.

also, i read gen second-year fluff by talya firedancer. what is the world coming to?? though... i still think they're in love. they're always in love. i can't even convince myself for one minute that they're not in love. i know because i've tried today. i was like, "just... live in reality (whatever -that- is, considering) for a minute. come on, reena you know they're not really in love. come on. you can admit it to yourself. it'll be our little secret. come on." but i couldn't~! i couldn't. i just couldn't. every time i'd think "ok, no", i would shout YES, yes they are, yes, yes, yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes!! *pant* yes!
    i have to wonder if i'd even break under torture... i'd be like, "ok, no. but yes!"
    and yes, on the subject of h/d, i'm behind on everything and would flog myself except everyone knows how vanilla i am now, and no one would believe me. erm. anyway. the two bits of lifeinwords' `monsoon weather' in existence make me feel like everything old is new again. gahd, i love that feeling.

ahahahah! a harry who's in love with draco, you say. but you can write a draco who's not in love with harry, hmmm?
i could see it now. this could drive harry to do something drastic, he just can't stand it anymore, you know-- the -jealousy-, eheehehe~:)
that's how -i- get around it. i write them with other people but have one of them pining helplessly anyway. even though it's cheesy. hey, it works~:)
and who says you can't change major things about a fic at the last moment.
