um. well.
heh.
i LOVED it :D
of course i saw it with a bunch of squeeing fangirls :D they are even cooler in person. really. oh my god i was almost acting normal-- and not shy except like, once the entire night!! it was AWESOME.

we first met up before the movie as a group of 5, including me, and talked (read: gossiped and squeed over harry & draco) over some mexican food in the village (ahahah) it was... too sweet. we were so dorky-- and high on sugar, me and sara anyway. i was just blabbering on and on. everyone was (i -think-) having a pretty good time. then we walked to the movie theatre, like an -hour and a half- early, and hung around, doing the sit-in thing in the line waiting for us to be let in. people were all village-sexy and normal looking at first sight, but if you looked closer, they were wearing hogwarts hats and House scarves were everywhere and of course one or two were in full costume.

it was actually -fun- sitting in the theatre waiting for the thing to start, talking buffy and gawking at the people and waiting for the others to show up. i loved everyone at that point-- well except the uber-muscled weirdoes in the front row-- they were just scary. there were a bunch of gay couples, and one lesbian girl with a pale-white draco haircut. but she was female so it didn't really count. there was actually also a girl with a real scar on her forehead.

and then the previews started. wah! daredevil is SO going to rock my world. it so is. it so, so SO is.
and the movie. ack. the music. it was like star wars-- although in the last star wars, the music was really my most squeeful moment. and it was adorable. harry! my -god-. i was just trying to get used to seeing harry for a bit, and being all happy and thinking he could be a better actor but it really didn't matter. the burrow was JUST how i pictured it. it was amazing. and so was the dark arts shop! i was kind of upset they cut the draco scene from that, but it was ok, because draco was coming...!

ack, the book-shop scenes..! draco..! everyone squealed when he first got on screen, as well they should've. gah. gah. it makes me pant just remembering it ^^;
and then when they were facing off-- sara's friend was like, "hit him!" at the arthur/lucius scene, and "KISS HIM!" at the harry/draco bit right after and that just KILLED me, that was seriously -so- a huge highlight. people cheered :D ahahahah.

i love kenneth branaugh, and i love lockhart, and i love love-- well. yes. the cutting/editing was horrible and awful and there were a -lot- of inconsistencies, yes. but who cares, really. i thought the quidditch scene was unnecessary and i -totally- didn't get why mcgonnagal was the one explaining about the chamber of secrets (and -why-) but that's ok.
the quidditch scene ROCKED, ahahah. wooo, brooms! harry! draco! chasing each other! on brooms! yeah! that's what life is all about! hee.

and. oh. the polyjuice scene in the dungeon. yes. crabbe/goyle as harry & ron were completely adorable. -draco- was -beyond- adorable. the filching of the box. the looks he gave them. ron's responses. harry's stammering. adorable.
i thought the spider thing was overdone and boring, but ok. the duelling scene rocked. my. socks. i was like... snape! and lockhart!! they are so good together it's really rather frightening ^^;; did i mention i LOVE lockhart? i do.

and just-- too cute. draco getting beat up. "you wish." parseltongue.
    mmmm, parseltongue. yes.
and did i mention riddle? ah, the joy that is tom. he stole his scenes.
    mmmm, tom.
a number of things made little sense taken by themselves, and the whole end scene with the basilisk was a tad silly (not sure if it's taken from `north by northwest' as someone said after, but it very well could've been). but still, tom. harry with a sword! yes! he was waving it in a silly fashion but it matters not. i liked him stabbing the diary. he looked like he enjoyed it :D

yes, definitely one of my favorite scenes. that, the dungeon, the duel, quidditch, the burrow, and privet drive. hagrid at the end, frightened me, but i was expecting it from people talking about the "hagrid-love", and yes it was freaky, in fact, especially hermione crying, heh. that was almost funny though. lockhart at the end of the credits was adorable. i want to see it again-- i mean, the whole thing, but also that. and draco. more draco. want to see it -specifically- looking for harry/draco moments, since the first time i just kind of "saw it".

i loved a lot of the sets. the burrow and the girl's bathroom were great.
moaning myrtle didn't strike me as believable. she looked so-- um-- modern and hammy. not at all how i imagined her. but oh well. draco also smiled and laughed and generally acted like he was 8 a bit too much, but that's ok. lucius was also hammy, especially near the end, but that's ok. hermione was really good, and there wasn't enough of her. snape was sexy but fat (for snape). well, he -was-. i liked percy (yum) and tom, and draco, and harry (without his glasses-- that was a pervy moment). and aww, him touching hermione's hand. and awwww, hermione & ron not hugging. and awwww, harry has a cute smile then :D

and, draco's eyebrow quirking. how sexy was that.
he's a ham but i love him.

they've such deep voices. ron was ridiculous, really. i can't even -believe- ron. he looked completely silly throughout. i mean, really. completely, totally silly. my favorite part was when he was belching up slugs ^^;; hee. draco looked so delighted. he really shows too much happy bouncy emotion, but maybe that's just me.

i was totally slashing tom and harry in the last scene. i mean. he was -looking- at him. and -touching- him with his -wand-. ahahah. and saying how he'd see if he was a match for him :D ahahah.
    yes.
it was in fact, a perv-fest.
i love harry and his little temptations from his One True Love :D

seeing it with harry/draco shippers though-- that's what made it priceless. even though there were 16 of us in the cafe afterwards, so it wasn't so cozy as before. and we used up two elongated tables. i stared a lot. i was trying not to be too obvious, but i mean, my HEROES. well, i mean, they were -right there-. their fanfic makes me -drool- and they were -right
there-. i just ate my cake (not too good, actually), and sipped my tea and piped up occasionally, and then ever-so-subtly suggested we introduce ourselves just so i can say, "hi! i'm reena! you're ivy! i LIKE YOU!" heheeh :D

i thought it was a bit-- weird-- that they still used their net names, but ok. i guess they didn't know us and we're scary stalkers, etc. no hard feelings, really.
we were silly goofs, and there was much drawing on napkins and analyzing of minutia and praising of cheesecake and harry/draco subtext. it was all about the harry/draco. a number of us were falling asleep, but it was all good.

and then, as one, everyone got up. i got to fangirl ivy, which i still can't get over. i just came up to her and was like, "hi, i hereby fangirl you," ahahaha, and she hugged me and it was a hallmark moment. in harry/draco united. we chatted a bit and she is sooo cooler in person than online, and that's saying something. but it's like-- everyone is cool, but different levels of approachable. and it's just-- brilliant when someone is -that- approachable. yes. especially when they want to approach ME, heh.

everyone was/is, really. cool, i mean. and pretty approachable. wah.
and then it kinda ended. and i wandered around looking for a subway for half an hour after walking people home and whatnot. it was almost 5am by that point, but who cares, i was happy.

and then on the subway home, i wrote some harry/draco smut i'm almost done with. and it was good. the end~:)
