Actually, PBS aired the Gormenghast trilogy... sometime last year I believe. 'Tis been released on DVD, so you should be able to rent it. It's an interesting fantasy story - but JRM is very Draco-ish as Steerpike. Steerpike is ambitious, cunning, manipulative, sarcastic, caustic, dead sexy...
And, to get loffly gay JRM you MUST check out VG NOW!!! JRM sleeping with Ewan MacGregor... does it get any better than that???? (Well, H/D... but... ;)
