shaera's fan-art on her list is pretty good, but that's probably still my favorite. *sigh*
this group-pic of "the gang" looks rather weird (their fake smiles, mostly), but it's absolutely exquisitely colored, and the style is unique and striking, so i thought i'd link to it. and, i kind of dig her evil!draco, he looks so realistic. yeah, and nordic, too ^^;; because, face it, he's bound to look like that, 7 times out of 10, probably.
and she drew a mary-sue pic, which you've just got to admire. i mean, heh, how many of us would really be above it, if it weren't so plebey and embarrassing. heh. i can just imagine how many fan-artists have secret stashes of pics where a suspiciously familiar-looking girl is jumping draco :D
and this is definitely an interesting way to see a tree nymph...

penelope_z is of course, right. this fic by wax_jism has got it going on. oh yes. plot, and everything. unapologetic!draco. remus & sirius-- and everybody-- i could stand. oh. oh. oh. cruelty and mysteries and madness, these are some of my faaaavorite thiiiings~:) although. now i want saaaaap. sure, it's open-ended...but...but...but... life sucks, just like draco said. *pouts* and harry. how could he? hmf.
i'm like, wow, this isn't even fanfic-- this is just fic. better than most published original things in magazines, but then, we all know most of this fandom could kick serious paid-writer butt :D erm. well it's nice to think so, isn't it? someone should actually do a zine-- you know, like a printed zine-- even for this seasonal challenge-- i bet a number of us would want these stories in print, with nice fan-art, etc-- pay for copies at kinko's say? what say y'all? you are going to just ignore this, i realize, but. it's still a good idea. i yearn for a bi-annual hp slash zine, now. yes. we could do it. why do i have these ideas, which require organization, popularity, and lots of planning? dammit. *sigh* just. that story is -publishable-. it would be a great way to get our names out, y'know? ok, maybe not, but still. who knows. i don't -think- there is a zine for hp stuff (that i know of), and there should be-- this is better stuff than most star trek fic, and dare i say, most elfquest or star wars fic. yes.
