This is true. I can't write Marauder-era either, but I always really appreciate the fics and such set then. I like them better, I think, usually, but I can't do them at all.
Anyway, I am still excited about the seventynine game, because dlkjs looks really promising. I know who's doing Xenophilius and, yay! Gurdyroot infusion! Ahhh, I love the Marauders, I just can't write that. And yeah, the first time around Order stuff, and that first war desperation/hope, and just, the boyishness, you know? With the Trio, the dynamic is different.
