Ahaha, clearly this needs yet more editing -.- Should I lock it again? Well, it was supposed to be a mind-fuck! Sort of. This is what happens when I change my mind as to where I wanna go with a fic halfway through. :>
I guess, ummm... should I bother to fix/explain this: Why would Harry have a this longstanding tradition of wallowing and wanking over Draco on Valentine's Day if they also have (an apparently) longstanding tradition of hooking up? In my mind, the implication is that a) they don't hook up that often, and if/when they do, Draco is drunk/in denial later/threatens to Obliviate Harry/things are generally traumatic and uh, drunken; b) Draco is very open with how much he sleeps around and is available and Harry read some gossip about him being engaged; c) basically, their hook-ups and the whole deal is emotionally exhausting and nothing like those few weeks.
I liked things being ambiguous, so I wasn't sure where to put a straightforward explanation. I suppose I should make a second category of fic to be beta'd-- either it's important to me or it's intentionally mind-fucky, so I should make sure how others minds react besides just mine :>
The 'sucking dick' thing was a throw-away to show they weren't exactly being 'adventurous' or even normal (in my mind Draco gets drunk and lets himself be fucked doggie-style in the dark 'cause he can't take it anymore). And it's not so much that it's more frequent than once a year as it's more random than 'just on Valentine's Day or not at all'. I suppose I'll try and incorporate all this in on-the-fly edit #2 :))
