[question!]
Apr. 23rd, 2005 08:17 pmOkay, I think I have a problem (well... one of). I am currently procrastinating 'cause I really want to read this new chapter in one of my favorite mangas ever (Koi ga Bokura, which I'd reviewed), and... ack, I'm too nervous. Every time I tell someone about this way I have of avoiding things I really want, people just sort of... are taken aback, ahaha. I mean, usually, I do read/do whatever it is eventually, but sometimes I'm so overwhelmed, I never actually get to it. Er. Well, I know people get nervous from anxiety/trepidation and stuff, but... happiness? Oh wait, like... weddings, right? It could be I get cold feet with things... on a lower scale than weddings... but it's sort of similar, right?
Am I like... really weird, or is there anyone else out there who can't seem to read stories they're really excited/happy when they come out? Heh.
/random.
PS. In case anyone was wondering (which I doubt), I just realized that bit about man-boobs yesterday was a result of my ongoing fascination with certain types of slang. I also adore all usages of smex (smexing), badass (or variations thereof like hardass), babe (somehow it's hard to be unsexy and say babe), awesome, bitchin', chica, etc. Except no one actually says bitchin' that I've heard in recent memory -.- Biatch is best, though. Gives man-boobs a run for its money, doesn't it?
