This image alone makes me good for writing about 10 long Harry-centric fics in some kind of fangirl orgy of worship. *cries*

I am so lame. So lame. Ohhhhhhh..... gnah. -.-

I know I'll just combust and write tons no matter what happens with 6th book. If everyone dies and is horribly written but Harry, I will write tons. In fact, even if Harry becomes unlovable, I'm sure my zeal will only burn brighter in order to somehow redeem him. I've underestimated just how much I did get inspired by the last book and how I did need a canon recharge, since fanon certainly isn't going to recharge me anytime soon. In other news, Emma's hair is suddenly floofier this movie. Heh. And Ron is still adorable, but then when isn't he? And I don't even care anymore, since the only thing Dan does really well is stare balefully, but THAT'S ENOUGH.

Can't...speak...laughing...at...hair...

His hair is just the funniest thing I've ever seen. It makes me think he's staring that intensely JUST so that you dare not point out his silly hair.

And yes, Emma's hair seemed to have gotten quite the stylin' for this movie. Rupert's looking good, though.

Hehehe yeah I kinda... have to ignore the hair :)) :)) I think they were layering it to make it look 'wild'. Now he looks like Harry goes to the best hair-stylist for stuck-up young boys. Draco would be jealous, eheheheh.

I can't believe I'm about to go off on DR's hair, but apparently here I go.

I think they're almost shooting themselves in the foot letting it get long. I mean, we know how Harry's hair's supposed to be. It's black and course (fanfiction aside, where you often read that while Harry's hair "looks like it should be course" it is actually silky smooth--somehow), which is why it sticks up at odd angles and James can have it look good by mushing his hand around in it.

DR has hair totally wrong to get that look because it's all fine and soft. But if they cut it shorter they might at least be able to get some sort of spikey thing going--I don't know, it might just look stupid in a different way. Here it's just so obvious that somebody adjusted his hair to stop it from falling naturally, probably curling stuff around their fingers and using gel. And the result isn't messy (like Harry's) but touseled.

Rupert, meanwhile, seems to be growing up in a much cooler movie, somehow. Dan and Emma look like little actor kids. Rupert could sit down next to wigless!Tom and they'd look like they'd be friends who did dumb things together. YMMV.

...You're right about the tousled thing. I think they try a different thing with every movie, except with Rupert's hair which them seem to leave alone (ahahah, maybe everyone knows he's the cutest and he should just do his own thing, I dunno). I really wanna see badass spiky-hairspray-haired!Dan <3<3<3 That would just beat all. Ohh, wigless!Tom even has a nickname now <3<3 Though it makes me sad that Tom & Rupert are now united in dorky coolness or something, but somehow that does make sense even in Ron & Draco's case, eheh.

I -do- have a friend with wildly curly/messy yet really soft black hair. So I guess it happens. But it's more wavy than angular. Then again, mine is dark & coarse but not angular either :> :> I've actually almost never seen anyone's hair stick up at angles a lot, which is why no one quite gets Harry's hair right even in fanart, ahahahah.

Ah, ah, I think he looks horrible. The hair! The eyebrows! The intense heroic gaze! He is.. so, so, square. Both in looks and attitude. I love Harry so much, but this looks nothing like the Harry I love. I'm so happy Ron looks so sweet, cause between Harry and Hermione, I really need someone I can still like in the films.

Hehe, you know, I haven't thought of it as 'square'-- I just like this expression (the glaring heroically one) better than his others, ahahah :D I think it's one of the few times he really projects anything, I guess? So because of my admitted fangirl silliness, I get caught up in the sheer excitement of -wanting- to believe, you know what I mean? The thing I like about DR is that he sometimes acts like he's demanding the viewer believe he is really the Real Deal-- as in, Harry. And even though Harry's wicked and mischievous and sensitive and DR is... not, that sort of demanding/challenging nature is what attracts me, even though it's utterly misplaced.

Or maybe I'm just a total sucker, which was my first guess~:) But I never actually thought he made a 'good Harry' in the picture or others... it's sort of a freaky phenomenon in my case ^^;;;
