also, wah. it's not -nice- of me, i can't -help- it, i like your stuff. i'm not trying to be nice or not-nice :((
i hate people who're either on purpose, y'know? :/
if i had a problem that i wanted someone to know about, i'd tell them without hiding, and if i didn't tell them it's because i didn't want them to know and thus am sure i'll get over it or it doesn't matter, not that it's a "sekrit", just i don't want to hurt their feelings :T
but anyway, fic has nothing to do with niceness or liking people, just -fics-, y'know? and i'm such a hypocrite i guess because i personally like a lot of the authors whose writing i like, but not -all-, just the ones i get a certain sort of vibe from in their writing, a feeling of the mind behind it, but even so i love writing regardless of the person, and the people who can't separate the two things and in fact use one as leverage for another really annoy me :/

er... that was a complete tangent btw, just that it seems i've observed a lot of turning-around-and-badmouthing-fic when someone's relationship with the writer goes sour and THAT IS SO... grr. i dunno why it makes me so upset except that i -respect- some of these people, y'know? i (still!) respect them and they're acting so juvenile and. grrrrrrrrrrrr. i mean, okay, people act juvenile when they're upset, but. it's like... i also hope that the people i like are... i dunno. not -nice-, but -graceful-, intelligent emotionally somehow.
i don't even know how this stuff works, you know, on an emotional level-- i've never actually "turned around" on someone or had it done to me. i dunno what makes that tick except on an intellectual level. i suppose consequently i take too much shit from people i care about, but i'd rather be overly-soft than someone who cares about their own momentary emotional well-being more than that of their friends when push comes to shove.
and it's so weird because i can't (by my logic) -denounce- people for acting insensitive because that'd be insensitive of me and i'm sure they all have their own reasons, y'know? but it's still upsetting to my own naivete, i suppose, how easily people turn around on you, how they're only nice "if" so-and-so.

being nice (even though that's a bad word, really, so declawed of passion) "only if" just. is stupid (although human, dammit). grrr.

I can understand honestly why, if a relationship had a very painful falling out, why a personal stigma might attach to the person's fics. But from an intellectual/aesthetic standpoint I cannot *imagine* why somebody would suddenly start dissing another person's fics or their writing talent, unless they had only actually *pretended* to like that person's fics to begin with, for whatever reason. And that to me is sheer hypocrisy; I may understand it but I could never respect it. I can't think of a single person whose fics I've started disliking simply because of a personal issue I had with them. Generally, if I dislike somebody's fics from the start, I won't go out of my way to get to know them.

and yes, I would love to read it pre-final anything! or post! yes yes please!

I'm sorry fandom's been upsetting you, sweet. I apologize for the part my behavior might have had in that recently, and implore you to take a break from the fandom side of things, focus on reading, writing, getting back to the fics and back to canon and back to the glorious beauty of the OTP, haha, and just let the frustrating things fall by the wayside for a while.

and I will try to do the same. :)
