Harry could have *anyone* at the school, barring Draco in my worldview hee! but see, see. -that's why it's so perfect-! how can one resist, (well, how could -i- resist), when you set it up like that??! suuuuure, if you say malfoy is boring and stupid, i can see it. but unattainable?! oh baby, bring it on!! *laughs*
maybe it's a similar thing. people want to pair people who're (mutually, even) unattainable and broody and seeing that attraction-yet-repulsion thing happen~:)
