it's to her this post is addressed, even though actually she hasn't frustrated me at all and this is addressing various others' points about people's ideas of the Draco characterization in the book.
I just wanted to see more of him! But I am okay with this as is. Regulus wasn't brave either, not in the Gryffindor sense, and I like that - in OotP, they all made it sound like Regulus marched up to the Dark Lord and was like, "I want out!" and the Dark Lord was like, "Avada Kedavra, obviously." Like Regulus was stupid enough to think Voldemort would give him mercy and let him get away. But instead he died taking him down a bit, in this infinitely more cunning way :-? I don't know, I mean. I guess that is the one thing that I hate about the house set-up of the books, is that bravery comes first for Harry & Co, to the point where it's sometimes difficult for them to understand other motivations, even Cho's loyalty to Marietta after Marietta betrayed them, when Cho didn't even do anything wrong. Yeah, yeah, you make a post about Draco and I talk about Cho, you know how it is.
